Hi! boys and girls.
We introduce ourselves, we are Ainhoa, Nicole, Lucía, Aroa and Sara. We are the authentic creators of this great blog. We have created this blog because we are interested in the subject and we want to delve into it and hear the opinion of society.
We have done this project to make you aware of the real problems caused by filters and beauty campaigns.
We want to make it public because the more people see our posts, the better awareness we will make on the issue.
Our goal is not to become famous by posting things on this topic. Our real goal is that we see the filters of the different apps as something fun, but it is not like that. We want to help people to love themselves the way they are, that they don't need a filter to fit a standard of beauty.
We make it public among other things, so that all people can publish things and we can interact with you. Convey to you that it is a safe space, so feel free to comment whatever it is always with respect please.
The objective is to communicate between society and ensure that there are no more troubles that trigger serious health problems.
we are going to delve into the subject so we want you here with us. Let's go!.
Why does instagram filters create problems of insecurity and low self-esteem? This is one of the most interesting questions and it is how a photo can lead to real health problems. This is so, because we are obsessed with physical appearance. So much so, that many people see filters on instagram or snapchat and want to look like them. They get it by going to the cosmetic operating rooms with the reference photo for the professionals to do it for them. And this question leads us to seriously care about society. All people have to accept
each other as they are, without retouching and facing all their fears. They have to be aware of their worth and be aware of themselves. That we are all beautiful and that a simple photo cannot unleash the problems that they are currently unleashing. So that you can see that everything we say is true, we are going to present you some photos that have come to light before and you may have already seen them.
This man had surgery to look like the villain of Captain America that is Red Skull.
And this woman underwent multiple surgeries to look like Snapchat filters.
A single click allows to radically transform the user's physiognomy by creating
Currently, the most popular filters are those that cause insecurities and that you do not love yourself as you are, putting yourself like a model with big eyes and lips, marked cheekbones, etc.
From our point of view, it is a shame that society has to fight with these stereotypes, but the reality is like that. Technology is doing a lot of damage and society should not be so vulnerable. Being able to have fun with the filters, we are creating a psychological obsession and a future in which physical beauty will predominate as a reference. It's a real shame, but society has the power to change it and that's why we do this to raise awareness. One person can change the world, but when we are more, the better we will do it.
Remember boys and girls, we are the example to follow for many of the people, so give importance and voice to this issue that is hardly talked about.
We prepare activities that give visibility and voice to this issue. I hope you like it and that you do. The objective of the activity is that people are not badly influenced by the filters and that they do not get obsessed with retouching photos on Instagram, because what makes us unique and beautiful is the difference of each one. We do not want a society of equal people regarding stereotypes of beauty.
Our first activity is about uploading a portrait of ourselves to instagram. It has to be uploaded without any retouching and without any filter. The key is to give hastag visibility as #WithoutFilters #LoveYourself # ChangingSociety
When you upload it, tag our blog so that more people can see it. You would be doing society a great favor.
Today we bring you interviews of people we have asked about this topic. These interview snippets are a lot of fun so I recommend you watch them. As we have said before, filters are a false reality in which it is not you, but a perfectionist standard of a model. When these people compare how they look in the photos and how they look in the mirror, they create very high expectations, which they can only reach by going to operating rooms to look like others. In addition, psychological problems are created that can only be solved by going to psychologists.

I agree that filters cause insecurity in people by trying to look like them but what is the solution so that this does not happen?
ResponderEliminarHello Javier, because answering your question, the solution would be to accept our differences with respect to others. Our society is used to that ideal of perfectionism. Then the responsibility would be for companies to hire all kinds of people, not like today that only choose models with everything perfect thanks to operations and other factors. But really, there is no such thing as a perfect person in society. And because of an operation that you do, the one who is unhappy is unhappy and not because of a retouch will change something in him. That is why it creates such serious problems, because a person who carries out a number of operations and cannot reach that expectation creates great insecurity.
EliminarI totally agree, filters damage our society by making us think that we should have the perfect measurements in order to be pretty and that makes people so unhappy because they don’t look like that and causes a lot of frustration which can lead to mental health problems and a lot of frustration
ResponderEliminarI agree with you and it is something that we must try to change. Thanks for comment.
EliminarGreat activity to make this topic visible. Right now I do. Congratulations
ResponderEliminarThank you for your comment Luca!!
EliminarThe insecurity and emotional decline is real. Social networks were probably created for other purposes. I think it is important to raise awareness about giving a real image.
ResponderEliminarThat is our purpose. If we all manage to raise awareness, however little it may be, those stupid things of wanting to always be perfect will change. There are many worries in the world and this must be the last. Thanks for your comment. Kisses
EliminarI personally think that it is not only Instagram filters that are the cause of people's low self-esteem. These types of applications and social networks usually affect women. When entering these types of social networks, you come across marked stereotypes that are probably not the same as yours, and that's where the insecurities come from, but influencers also have a lot of weight over young women, since sponsoring clinics doesn't mean anything to them. aesthetic, where they do their touch-ups "to be more beautiful", because they charge for it and encourage them to do the same. But for influential girls with low self-esteem it can be an obsession and a really serious problem.
ResponderEliminarWe are totally agreed. People who have a great weight in society such as influencers should be a reference for good and avoid these types of problems that are generated in society and that could be avoided. Thanks for your comment. Kisses
EliminarIt seems to me a very interesting and popular topic nowadays, because today very few people do not have a social network. In them there are many people, famous, influential ... and usually they are people who are or appear to be thin, very beautiful, have very beautiful hair ... many times this is achieved, through the filters, as you say on the blog, and this can create many insecurities in adolescents who fixate on their "idols".
ResponderEliminarI think it's a good blog, with a very important topic that should be talked about more.
I totally agree with you nerea. When society gives such importance to one thing, that thing becomes so viral that it can lead to serious health problems as is the case. Greetings
ResponderEliminarGood post girls. Congratulations
ResponderEliminarThanks to you for being interested in seeing our post. Kisses to you, Frank.
ResponderEliminarI think that you have done a great work, rising people awarnes about the danger of the social media filters.
ResponderEliminarI also want to say that the girl who goes in many surgeries to look like snapchat filters catch my attention, because it really show the impact that filters could have in our lifes.
Finally I think that surgeries like the one of the “Captain America” man should be forbidden, because it could become a viral challenge which make people, especially teenagers, want to seem like their idols.
I hope you keep posting about this topic!
